The Annual Friendship Force San Francisco Bay Area Holiday Luncheon will be held Thursday, December 12th, 11:00 AM – 2 PM at Michael’s at Shoreline, 2960 N. Shoreline Boulevard, Mountain View. This year the Madrigal Choir will kick-off the luncheon at 11:15 AM so please plan to arrive early!! After the choir performs we will have a delightful luncheon buffet with vegetarian option. We will also collect food for Sunnyvale Community Services; see the paragraph below for details. There will also be a raffle. We will review all that we did in 2024 and do a preview of our journeys and events in 2025. We will also install our 2025 officers.

Here’s the list of items that can be donated on December 12 at our Holiday Luncheon. Shirley will collect the donated items after the event, and deliver them to Sunnyvale Community Services:
Unopened baby wipes and diapers
Canned fruit and vegetables
Brown or white rice (1-2 lb. packs)
Dry cereal, low-sugar oatmeal
Dry beans (1-2 lb. Packs) Pop-top soup
Vienna sausages, Spam Canned tuna or chicken
Protein drinks: Boost, Ensure, Muscle Milk
Travel size soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner
Toothpaste, packaged toothbrushes
Grocery store gift cards
Reusable canvas shopping bags
Note: We cannot accept homegrown produce. Dollars and checks (made out to Sunnyvale Community Services) are also accepted and go far.
