Rose Marie has cooked up another great adventure for us.
The 9th District courthouse built in 1910 is loaded with marble and other decorative treatments. We will visit several floors of the building including courtrooms, judges’ chambers and the law library. We will meet at the Hyatt Regency hotel lobby at 10 AM. Our first visit will be to the Salesforce Garden located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Salesforce tower. We may then enjoy a quick snack as our courthouse tour begins at 1 PM.

10:15. Walk to Fremont and Market Streets
10:30 425 Mission St. - Visit Salesforce SF Skyscraper Salesforce 5.4 acre lush green park/island 70' above ground level transit center. 600 trees drought tolerant trees planted in 11 gardens.
Visit food trucks; enjoy your lunch in park.
12:15 Walk to 3rd & Mission take bus #14 to
7th and Mission
12:30 - 95 7th St James R Browning Courthouse
9th District Federal Courthouse. Must show a valid ID and go through security.
12:45 Wait in reception area
1:00 One hour Tour of this magnificent building designed 1890 survived 1906 earthquake but sustained substantial structural damage in 1989 earthquake, closed until 1995. This is busiest of 13 Federal appellate courts in US. A National Historic Landmark. It is considered one one of America's most beautiful public buildings.
Our tour may include seeing several of court rooms, public areas and the law library possibly a judges chambers...
2:30. 33 8th St We'll walk to 8th and Mission and see Trinity Plaza where there is a 9 story swirling foil colored statue of Venus. Up until recently the tallest work of art in SF. Also view Italian pieces of carved white marble.
3:00 Walk to 8th and Market across from Orpheum
3:30 Enter Civic Center Bart Station -homebound
